The Oldest US Vet in my Family

This is Adam Weinrich he is oldest know US Veteran in our family. He died in 1864 and is still laying not to far from where he died in Andersonville Prison during the senseless war of states. He lays in earth National Historic Site, Andersonville National Historic Site, 496 Cemetery Rd, Andersonville, Sumter, Georgia, 31711, USA One of the stories is that our fore fathers on my Fathers dad's side bought his large family to Sheffiled Il to escape the last Danish Draft. From there every Jacobsen served in the Military and I figured I was going to right up until the moment I walked out of the recruitment station in Hyttsville, MD. It seems the fleet officers was convinced that I wanted to be like Top Gun which had just come out and that I keep saying that I wear glasses and know I cannot fly so why would I take the aviation part of the OQT. Needless to say I couldn't convince him that I wanted to go into Navel Intel. Go figure. So on this Veteran's day I salute al
